Rationale
Fundraising plans for 2025
- Gala (this is an existing program)
- Walk/run for a cause (spring or summer program)
- Silent auction (can be done during the gala)
- Merchandise sales (review merchandise available)
- Raffle/bingo (raffle already being done; bingo can be added)
- Trivia (look for a restaurant/coffee shop willing to partner/host)
- Giving Tuesdays (look for businesses willing to partner/match)

Fundraising at the Annual Gala
- Event Tickets

Walk/Run for a Cause
- Registration fee
- Opportunity to get sponsors to match $1/mile
- Invite companies or local small businesses to participate – more participants mean more fees collected and more $1 match opportunities
- Target: late spring/summer

- Insulated tumblers
- Double-walled transparent drinking cups

- Beer/bottle can openers

Giving Tuesday
- Not necessarily on the declared national Giving Tuesday – we can pick a Tuesday per quarter
- Partner with sponsors who can match or double funds raised
Bingo
- Can be done during the anniversary celebration (March 2025)
- $1 per card; 6 cards for $5 and 12 cards for $10
Trivia
- Partner with local restaurants or coffee shops for venue and pricing
- $1 joining fee per person
2026 Calendar
- Open to individual or business sponsorship – each person or business will be assigned a page/portion of a page depending on their chosen donation amount
- Calendars will be sold for $5 each
Food Truck / Farmer’s Market
- Partner with Sara Ilao for food truck fundraising – we will advertise her food truck and in turn ask for 10% of the profit be donated to Global 1nspiration
- Solicit from members of the Filipino community to cook/bake traditional food items to be sold at Farmer’s Markets for a 50-50 profit split (they will cook, we will sell)
- Host a cooking show open to the public, featuring traditional Filipino cuisine
